As always, I’m still trying to update my wardrobe. I’m seriously lacking in the nice shirt department. Love this one from Ann Taylor Loft.

Beautiful leather moleskin covers. I definitely wouldn’t purchase one simply for a notebook, but I love the buttery soft leather.

Neapolitan’s new mini boxes sold in her Etsy shop. I want to frame the top middle and top right sheets of paper as pretty original artwork.

This super awesome faux python print iPhone cover. I spotted it in Oprah with a 50% off coupon code– which I think I love just as much as the cover.

The Hipstamatic photo application for iPhone. I’m taking all of our beach pictures with it and I love the vintage feel they’re producing. (More pictures next week!)

Selling our old iPhones on Ebay. We’ve basically paid for our 4.0 upgrades just by selling our old ones. And no matter what people say, the new phone rocks!

The beautiful jewelry by Noelani Designs. They’re sold at one of my favorite boutiques in Charlotte, Isabella, and are seriously gorgeous pieces.

These new dress-up-jeans-for-meetings-shoes that I spotted in Real Simple months ago. They’re so, so comfortable too.

Steven Miller’s Untitled #7 painting. Although, I wish there was a giclee print available because the original, sadly, isn’t within my budget.

The sparkles and tank top combined in one. So perfect for moi.

Target’s Kimono Dress… once again much more flattering in person than on the website. Thank you to my dear friend Tonya for discovering this $15 piece of happiness. (P.S. Mine hits just above the knee and there are additional colors at the store.)

And finally, these Steve Madden flats. I discovered they’re on super sale until August and then they go to full price. Unlike other Steve Madden shoes, these were actually incredibly comfortable.

These beautiful glass and silver coasters. I saw some recently at Sleepy Poet Antique Mall but they were way over priced so off to Ebay I go…

EmersonMade’s new clothing line. So simple and feminine. What’s not to love?!

This 100% amazing fabric Bryn found for one of her e-decorating clients. Go gorgeous.

I’ve been on the hunt for fun, metallic flats for awhile. I love these and bonus, they’re pretty reasonably priced.

Pretty, pretty abstract floral pattern. I’m thinking for the wedding in July…

My friend Tonya’s perfect Mid-Century Modern magazine rack. So perfect and so much better than the old feed bucket I use.

The dresses seemed kinda blah at the new J.Crew Bridal Boutique but ohmygod I LOVED this desk. My jaw literally dropped open the second I saw it.

I think I’ve finally found my perfect denim jacket. Yay! No to try and locate it in my size…

Another desk I’m loving. Can you tell I’m on the hunt?

This kitchen from the most recent Lonny is perfection. Love the cabinet color and I’ve discovered it’s once again my favorite Farrow & Ball color. Sigh… one day maybe I’ll have a kitchen like this.

Dress up, dress down… either way I love, love, love this top and necklace.

I am completely obsessed with Simplesong’s new website. Suann has an expanded collection  of ready made and personalized stationary that I can barely control myself from purchasing everything! Not to mention, how amazing are her wedding invitations? I’m obsessed with that envelope liner pattern.

J.Crew can do now wrong with their summer tees. I’m still not tiring of ruffles and am seriously obsessing about this beauty.

We just got news that three separate friends are pregnant which means it’s time for me to stock up on baby cards! Loving these gender neutral lovelies.

All of the sudden I’m into super feminine pinks for my toes. This matches my skin tone perfectly and is so flattering. Love.

This is my all-time favorite Google logo. The fact that they created a way for us to play Pacman… genius. I can’t tell you how much time I spent when it was on the homescreen. Now, it’s officially on the web forever. Love.

How fun are these TOMS wedges? So fun and so perfect for summer.

I’d love to get a new dress for the wedding we’re attending in July. I think this one seems fun. I do wish it was shown on a model though.

Love this perfectly pulled together casual, yet perfect for a meeting outfit from Ann Taylor Loft.

I am absolutely in love with this new outdoor collection from Room & Board. It makes me long for a yard even more.

The perfect, go with anything, dress-up, dress-down earrings.

Ikat Dress

Target for clothing is really hit or miss with me. I usually find something I like, but then when I try it on I’m between sizes. Always. The bust will fit but it will pull at the hips. Or the waist will fit but the thighs are too tight. Oh the issues with shopping for a pear shaped body. Anyway, it’s one of the many, many reason I love wearing dresses all summer. They’re easy, breezy and seriously super comfortable.

So back to Target. Over the weekend Stephen went in to pick up a few t-shirts and I took a spin through women’s clothing. I came across this dress and  was immediately drawn to it– mostly the ikat print skirt. I tried on this one and another in a different color way and took home the black and purple one. Turns out, next day I’m still thinking of this one. Black and purple dress went back and this one came home. It’s $20 of fabulous.

Personally, I would never wear it with heels like the model (it’s a jersey top and plain cotton bottom) but I think with my t-strap flats it looks fab.

Oh, and seriously I don’t think anything on the Target website is flattering on models. They could seriously learn a thing or two from J.Crew.

There are so many great things these days. First up, Joslyn’s backyard and urban garden. Seriously, could it be any prettier? It makes me want to do more with our front porch.

I think this denim tulip skirt is the perfect shape for my body.

And aren’t these Polaroid notecards so fun and unique.

Finally, doesn’t this dress look like it’s covered with pretty brush strokes? Love.

Such a pretty way to personalize your MacBook or iPad.

Now that I’m having a lot of meeting with potential clients, I’m feeling the need for some dressy jeans. I don’t quite feel the need to wear slacks with most of the meetings, but regular dark matchstick jeans don’t quite cut it for everything. These trousers look great!

Love. love, love these cups. The Kate Spade Green stripes are amazing. Wish they weren’t bad for the environment though.

My love affair with jewelry is showing no end. I just discovered Moth House and am so, so in love with the unfussy, delicate designs.

It seems my wish list could go on and on forever. First up, I’m feeling bohemian. I want airy, long dresses for summer. I’m picturing wearing this with a chunky cuff and funky sandals to the rehearsal dinner BBQ we’re attending this July up in Maine.

Again, it’s somewhat bohemian and wouldn’t this horn bowl look great in a bookcase or on a side table?

spotted these in the most recent Nordstrom catalog I received in the mail. They’re a little bit punk rock and look way better on the model than this picture shows.

Finally, Alicia Bock’s new photograph bookmarks. Just looking at them takes me away.

Is a denim jacket in the 10 must haves for a woman’s wardrobe? If not, I think it should be… and of course I don’t have one.

Usually I just use rubberbands to hold cords, but sometimes with ones that get used a lot (laptop charger, iPod ear buds) it just seems to make the tangle worse. These winders look so perfect.
